MOAB SCHOLARSHIP FUND

- supporting neurodiverse students in Moab, UT -

The Moab Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to qualifying students (ages 12-18) to access a private, secondary education in Moab, Utah.

We acknowledge that public schools and their faculty and staff are working hard to offer a solid education within their means. However, students who are above grade level learners and students with learning disabilities benefit from accomodations that are difficult to achieve at a publicly funded school…such as a small class size ratio, one-on-one mentorship, project-based learning, accelerated learning and rigor, social-emotional curriculum, and a learning environment with minimal stimulation just to name a few.

Rural Utah is a wonderful place to live and raise children - clean air, clean water, and vast recreation opportunities. But because Moab is both rural and remote, it is very challenging for families to access additional educational resources. Families should not have to move to an urban community to receive educational accommodations. The Moab Scholarship Fund was developed to directly offset the cost of tuition for full-time, neurodiverse students seeking a private, secondary education that will help them launch as successful young adults.

The Moab Scholarship Fund is not a stand-alone tuition assistance solution for families. This fund is designed to match other state scholarships available to students with learning disabilities. And, this fund gives preference to families with financial need. Please reach out to us at support@moabscholarshipfund.org with any questions or with your pledge of support!
